Departmental Objective
The Staff Development and Training Department supports the facility's vision of serving as the region's center of excellence in the treatment of serious mental illness and its mission of assisting people in their recovery, by developing and sustaining a well-trained, highly competent workforce.
The Staff Development and Training Department works collaboratively with departments across the facility to provide quality educational and learning experiences to ensure continuous staff development.
The Staff Development and Training Department directs, organizes, and provides orientation and in-service programs to facility staff, other state employees, and the public at large.
