Departmental Objective

The Medical Professional and Laboratory Staff seek to provide high quality psychiatric and medical services to all patients. By doing so the facility assists in maximizing the function of the patients, restoring and maintaining their health, and allowing for their return to the community. The Medical Professional Staff and the Laboratory Staff seek to provide continuously the highest quality psychiatric and laboratory services to all patients at all times. The College of American Pathology (CAP) accredits the laboratory at SWVMHI.
